Build quality

The first thing that everyone notices in any gadget is the build quality. On that front, I’m Satisfied with the MSI GV62 7RD .It is pretty study and feels premium . There is a bit of flex in the Display . Overall it’s a great build.

Keyboard

 

The Keyboard on thie MSI GV62 7RD is just amazing , There is nice feel while typing , the keys gives great feedback and also the most attracting aspect of the laptop is the Red Backlit Keys they Look Super Dope and Classy !

Display

The one part of the MSI GV62 7RD Laptop that i feel is a bit average , Because it has a TN Panel instead of IPS panel , This move was done by MSI to Reduce the cost of the Laptop , But Still This Panel has a Good Refresh Rates and Gaming is Breeze in this , Better to Look at the display straight forward and not from different angles , because its not that good , colours fade away !

Performance

The Performance of the MSI GV 62 7RD Laptop is Top Notch , The disk drive speeds are pretty Low Because the Hard disk is of 5200 RPM and its Slow , Although it has a Slot for M2 SSD expansion , which will enhance the PC performance !

Gaming

The MSI GV 62 7RD Laptop has a 4GB of Nvdia GTX1050 GPU can easily run games like Doom on ultra settings at around 75fps at an average. Graphic intensive titles such as Battlefield 1 run steadily above 45 fps on the 1080p display at ultra settings, Even the GTA 5 runs at ultra settings without any frame drops , that too with DX12 and HDR support on.

Battery

The Battery on the MSI GV62 7RD Laptop is Descent , for Normal usgage we got 3 hrs of Battery Backup with 25% Brightness and ECO mode , While Gaming the laptop gives around 90 mins of Battery backup with 50 % of Brightness

Cooling

This MSI GV62 7RD comes with a Turbo boost cooling which is very helpful while gaming and doing heavy tasks like Video editing , the temprature easily drops down by 7-10 degrees after enabling the Turbo boost cooling , The Laptop has a dedicated button for the Turbo Cooling Function
